Two men have been arrested as part of a police crackdown on offensive weapons, which has seen a total of 450 weapons seized over three months. The weapons included knives, knuckle dusters, and air guns resembling real firearms.
Officers from Lincolnshire Police executed a warrant in Wheeldon Street in Gainsborough on December 21, where 50 weapons were discovered. A spokesperson for the force said they included flick knives, an air gun resembling a Smith & Weston, an air rifle, knuckle dusters, and a throwing-style knife.
A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of offensive weapons in a private place and has been released on bail with conditions not to own, import or sell any of them. The warrant followed a similar raid in October, where officers seized 300 knives from a home in Gainsborough.

Items seized included air rifles, air pistols, ammunition and other accessories.
