Man assaulted between Northolme and Uphill area

Police are appealing for witnesses and footage after an assault left a man with serious facial injuries in Gainsborough.

Between 5.43 pm and 7.03 pm on Thursday, 29 February, a man in his 60s was reported to have been assaulted between the Uphill area and Northolme View.

The man was wearing a black jacket with a fur collar and blue jeans and was riding a black and red pushbike at the time of the incident. He sustained multiple fractures and lacerations to his face and was taken to hospital for his injuries.

The Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the assault or captured any footage that can assist in our investigation.
