Hays Travel, an independent travel agent chain headquartered in Sunderland, England has opened a new branch in the Marshalls Yard shopping centre in Gainsborough yesterday (21 December).
Customers will be invited to an official launch event on 18 January 2024. Branch manager Lisa Favell will manage a team of six, including assistant manager Ashley Jackson.

“We will strive to continue this approach at our new Gainsborough branch and I am confident we will exceed our customers’ expectations.”

Gainsborough is the second of three new store locations for Hays Travel that chief operating officer Johnathon Woodall-Johnston announced at its annual conference in the Algarve last month, adding to the roster of six opened since January 2023.
The £100,000 investment in the Gainsborough site is a product of the agency’s ambitious investment plan, which will target refurbishments at 357 branches over the next three years and significant technology upgrades.
