A man robbed a shop in Gainsborough after an earlier disagreement with staff. The incident happened at the Martin McColls store in Spital Terrace at about 6pm on December 24. A police spokesman said: “Officers were called to reports that a man had entered the Martin McColls store in Spital Terrace earlier and had a disagreement with staff.
“He is reported to have then later returned at around 6pm and used threatening behaviour before making off with cash and goods.” Police have issued a photo of a man they believe may be able to help the investigation.
UPDATE 1.30pm, December 25. Police said: “We have now identified the person we wish to speak with, and we would like to thank everyone for their help with our appeal.”
