A woman has been charged with murder following the death of a 44-year-old woman in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire.
Stephanie McLaggan, 37, of North Warren Road, Gainsborough, was charged on Tuesday after she was arrested on suspicion of murdering Gillian Connelly, Lincolnshire Police said.
Ms Connelly was found with severe injuries by police officers in Wheeldon Street, Gainsborough, on Sunday and died a short time later in hospital.
McLaggan has been remanded into custody and will appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
Steven Lowther, 45, and Jade Glover, 28, both of Wheeldon Street, Gainsborough, were charged with perverting the course of justice on Tuesday and will also appear at the same court on Wednesday.
A 41-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender were released on police bail on Tuesday.
