On 7 January, Katie Barry, headteacher of St Georges School, reported that the school had been the victim of a burglary with over £3000 worth of equipment stolen. On her twitter page, she tweeted: “
Yesterday, 4 men forced open school’s security doors & stole over £3000 worth of equipment including battery powered Dewalt tools, leaf blower, strimmer, pressure washer & more. If you hear anything or are offered any stolen goods, let the police know immediately.
”
